Fronsac
2019 Château de la Dauphine
The château takes its name from the Princess of France, who lived there for a time in the 18th century. The excellent soils and special exposure to the sun result in juicy, sensual wines with great elegance. 2019 is a modern classic with great ageing potential from one of the oldest growing regions in the Bordelais. Castillion
2016 Château d'Aiguilhe
The owner, Stefan Graf von Neipperg (the family also owns vineyards in Württemberg), moved to Bordeaux in the early 1980s and acquired several important wine estates there (including the 1er Grand Cru Château Canon La Gaffeliere in St. Émilion). He demonstrated his special flair at Château d'Aiguilhe, among others. The 2016 is a highly complex, balanced and elegant wine with plenty of finesse! (2 bottles)

St. Émilion
2019 Château Pontet Plaisance
The Grand Cru Château Pontet Plaisance has been run by the Arnaud family for three generations. From just three hectares of very old vines rooted in soils with a very high limestone/clay content, a complex, dense and refined wine is produced, which can fully express its freshness and terroir character thanks to the well-dosed use of wood in the cellar and shows all the finesse and silkiness of the appellation in the 2019 vintage. 6 bottles of Bordeaux from the right bank

Today it's all about Bordeaux. Three wines from the so-called Right Bank. The Bordelais can be roughly divided into three large wine-growing regions. One is located above and below the capital Bordeaux on the so-called left bank (rive gauche) of the Gironde, the large water basin formed by the confluence of the Garonne and Dordogne rivers. Between these two rivers lies the Entre deux Mers and to the right of the Gironde is known as the right bank (rive droite).

The right bank
There are many characteristic terroirs in the so-called Libournais, which are divided into appellations such as St. Emilion, Pomerol, Fronsac, etc. What they have in common is that the soils are significantly more characterised by limestone and clay than the gravelly Left Bank and therefore the Merlot grape variety predominates, for which these soils provide the ideal basis. Wines made from Merlot are usually softer, fruitier and, above all, ready to drink earlier than the wines of the Médoc from the left bank, which are characterised by Cabernet Sauvignon.

We have put together a package of 6 bottles of wine from three different appellations, which offers maximum drinking pleasure at an attractive price, as well as plenty of tradition and history.
