Château de Beaucastel Châteauneuf du Pape Hommage à Jacques Perrin 2022

The legendary cuvée from Château de Beaucastel is a Châteauneuf du Pape with a very special combination of vines. The basis is primarily the large proportion of Mouvèdre from extremely old vines from a special parcel. Intense aromas of blueberries and liquorice fill the nose. The wine develops enormous pressure on the palate. But everything remains very finely woven and elegant despite the opulence. The tannins are very fine and the invigorating acidity provides a balance. A wine that needs some time to mature and will then last for decades!
