In May, during the first really warm days of the year, it is particularly nice to sit in the garden and enjoy a glass of wine. The sun finally shines longer and brings out the full splendour of spring: flowers in all colours, fresh green on the trees and a pleasant breeze that spreads the scent of awakening nature. It is the perfect opportunity to enjoy a glass of rosé or white wine.
Rosé, with its lively, fruity notes, is the perfect match for this sunny May weather, while white wine, with its refreshing citrus flavour, is the perfect counterpart. With an eye on the first barbecues of the season, perhaps a red wine with a strong character will round off the flavour of grilled meat or vegetables.
