The Wachenheim local wine from the 2019 vintage - produced according to biodynamic principles like all Dr. Bürklin-Wolf wines - is densely textured with juicy yellow fruit and strong notes of dried herbs. The mineral notes are intense and give the Village depth. The fine yet present acidity is perfectly integrated and the long, equally juicy and mineral finish once again reflects the complex structure of this Wachenheimer. A fine food companion that we recommend with sourdough bread and classic Palatinate liver sausage, for example, but also with French hard cheese.

The winery, which is located in Wachenheim in the Palatinate, looks back on a history of more than 400 years. With 85 hectares of cultivated land and diverse top vineyards in the communities of Forst, Deidesheim, Ruppertsberg and Wachenheim, it is one of the largest and most renowned in Germany.
