Glaetzer Wines
When Australian wine has Brandenburg roots, there must be a special family history behind it. in 1888, the Glaetzers landed in Adelaide to settle in the nearby Barossa Valley.
Like all great wines, Glaetzer's "Anaperenna" has also benefited from the exceptional 2018 vintage. The cuvée of 82% Shiraz and 18% Cabernet Sauvignon from the Ebenezer District is a great success. "Pure and pure is the way I would describe 2018. It's an absolute top year - you're going to see some great wines," says Ben Glaetzer. And the "Anaperenna" is a great wine with fantastic richness, concentration and density, but also elegance and finesse, with wonderful aromas of lavender, violets, star anise and smoke. There are also herbs, cassis, blackberries, cinnamon and vanilla. It is a splendid specimen with 97 points from ROBERT PARKER.
