The 2021 vintage of Rudolf Fürst's "R? Pinot Blanc is a wine of exceptional class. A creamy texture and a whole firework of citrus notes dance a highly elegant yet thrilling pas de deux on the clearly perceptible tracks of Buntsandstein (colored sandstone) terroir. Yuzu, flint, cedro, pear, minerality, white currant, and peach flash in and out of focus, all contributing to a striking overall impression. At home in Bürgstatt am Main, in the westernmost corner of Franconia, the winery looks back on a tradition of almost 400 years. in 1997, Paul and Monika Fürst took over the business, renovated parcels and acquired more. Since 2018, the management has been in the hands of their son Sebastian and his wife Isabell. Today, the vineyard covers 21 ha and is 60% planted with Pinot Noir. In addition, there is Frühburgunder, Chardonnay, Weißburgunder and Riesling.
