Van Volxem
When the remains of ancient settlements are found on a vineyard, it is historically valuable - but above all it is a sign that even the Romans appreciated the steep slopes of the Saar.
This powerful local wine comes from the best and steepest vineyards in Saarburg. Rich yellow gold with a ripe slate aroma. The nose is full of stone fruit aromas, orange peel, pineapple, lemon peel and wild herbs. Intensely fruity, fresh and crisp on the palate. Nice to bite into! Notes of mandarin and mirabelle plum. Crisp, perfectly integrated, ripe acidity. Powerful minerality, great harmony between fruit and acidity.
