The Kranachberg is to the Sattlerhof what the Zieregg is to the Tements and the Nussberg is to the Gross. It is the local mountain and the most famous site where great wines such as the Sauvignon Blanc 2020 are produced. A wine with clear, bright fruit of white and red currants, passion fruit and grapefruit, plus smoke, herbs, stone and honey. On the palate, the Sauvignon Blanc is full-bodied and complex, elegant and compact at the same time, with a precise acidity and a mouth-watering saltiness on the finish.

When it was first mentioned in a document in 1886, the current Sattlerhof in Gamlitz was a rural farm. Today, it has developed into one of the top wineries in southern Styria, with an excellent gourmet restaurant and hotel attached. The family's inner attitude towards the product and their closeness to nature still derive from a "rural" way of doing business in the best sense of the word.
