Since the merger of the Belair and Magdelaine estates, Belair Monange has become a serious candidate for upgrading to 1er Grand Cru Classé A in St.-Émilion and impressively proves this claim every year. The wine is powerful yet elegant with a great deal of finesse, which is particularly evident in this great 2020 vintage. Black cherries and raspberries spread out in the mouth, accompanied by an incredibly dense opulence. The whole is carried by a fresh minerality.
