Previously somewhat intellectual with its herbaceousness, especially in cooler years, this wine has improved enormously. The 2022 vintage represents the current peak of this 3ème Grand Cru Classé in the immediate vicinity of Palmer. Rich dark berry fruit and beautifully polished tannins are supported by ripe acidity and plenty of salinity. A great vintage for Issan!
