This Premier Cru from Pessac Leognan is always very closed and somewhat mysterious when sold en primeur. However, this changes as it matures. The result is always one of the greatest red wines in the world! The 2022 version overwhelms you with its lush dark fruit. This is certainly no wallflower, but a highly elegant blockbuster! It will need time to mature, but then it will join the ranks of the very great Haut Brions, such as the 1989!
