Northwest of Saint-Émilion, on the edge of the Pomerol appellation, Château La Dominique has been owned by the Fayat family since 1969 and holds Grand Cru Classé status.

Unlike Château Cheval Blanc, its immediate neighbor has a very high Merlot content of almost 90% in its 2022 blend. This results in a nose that is already lush with mostly red fruit, spicy notes, and dark chocolate. La Dominique is never the most elegant St. Emilion. But lovers of powerful Merlot-dominated wines will get their money's worth in this vintage!
