The château is a classic, imposing 19th century building. However, the origins of Le Bosq go back to Thomas Barton, an Irish merchant whose name is known from Léoville-Barton and Langoa-Barton.

This château from the far north of the Médoc is definitely one of the winners of this vintage. The warmth and high proportion of Merlot for St. Estèphe have produced a velvety, elegant, and harmonious wine that appeals with its beautiful maturity and velvety tannins. It has great finesse and a fresh floral signature. Excellent value at an acceptable price for this vintage.
