Château Talbot has been back at the top level for a few years now. There were times when it was more of a follower in this appellation studded with superstars. Rather reserved and lacking in punch, the wines were always good but not exceptional. With the magnificent 2009 vintage, the winery has returned to the level of the glorious 1980s. The 2022 vintage is bursting with power. Powerful aromas of black fruits and silky tannins with pure elegance. This is once again the Talbot that has become the icon of elegant St. Julien.
