The estate was taken over by its large neighbour Lafite Rothschild in 1962 and is now managed by the same team, which has contributed greatly to its improvement.Duhart Milon is, if you like, the true second wine of Lafite with the same typical Pauillac flavours that can be so beguiling.With Duhart, everything is just a little slimmer and present earlier - a little Lafite!These intense aromas of blackcurrants and the proverbial cigar box can also be found in the 2020.

Château Duhart-Milon is located near Paulliac on the Médoc peninsula, in the immediate vicinity of the world-famous Château Latife. Lafite second wine was produced on the Duhart plots around 200 years ago. The high quality of this area was recognised early on, with the 1855 classification giving the terroir the status of "4th high vineyard" - the only one in Paulliac.
