Unnoticed for a long time, this Grand Cru Classé awoke from its slumber a few years ago and has grown into a real beauty thanks to its owners, the House of Chanel. As with Château Canon (1er Grand Cru Classé B from the same appellation) and the 2ième Grand Cru Classé vineyard Rauzan Ségla from Margaux, the owners emphasise the true virtues of Bordeaux, which are: Finesse, elegance and fine fruit paired with longevity, which leads to wonderful maturity and makes these wines an experience at practically every stage. The 2016 vintage is one of the best vintages in Bordeaux for a long time. A perfect balance gives the wines depth and harmony that almost leaves you speechless.
