Château Malartic-Lagravière
Château Malartic Lagravière is one of only six estates where both red and white wines were included in the Graves classification (1953).
The vast majority of wineries in Pessac-Léognan offer both a red wine and a white wine. As a rule, the whites are slightly better and therefore more expensive. Malartic-Lagravière is one of the few châteaux where both the white wine and the red wine are classified as "Cru Classé". The red wine is always of remarkable quality. And at a very attractive price! The 2020 typically shows plenty of earthiness, florality and lots of black fruit. An invigorating acidity creates a tension that keeps everything in balance. Malartic-Lagravière can age incredibly well and shows beautiful tertiary flavours at the end!
