The Vino Gross winery, located directly adjacent to southern Styria, produces spectacular wines primarily from the Sauvignon Blanc, Furmint and Welschriesling grape varieties. The pure Furmint in particular, which grows on the chalky terraces of the Iglic high plateau, delights with complex aromas of ripe pome fruit (pear and quince) and a hint of honey and mint. The almost vibrant acidity and salty minerality almost leave you speechless!
