Vino Gross Korze Haloze 2021

The 2021 "Kor?e? from Vino Gross is a rare, delicate white wine made from 70% Sauvignon Blanc and 30% Furmint from 16-year-old vines. It matured for 19 months on the lees in oak barrels. The intensely straw-yellow wine offers a finely nuanced nose of dried flowers and yellow fruits, green plums and nettle leaves, a touch of petrol, lime zest, salted lemon, and flint. On the palate, the cuvée first appears soft and round, then becomes increasingly saline, firm, and energetic with lively acidity and crystalline clarity.

Vino Gross Štajerska Slovenija

It is the story of two brothers and two sisters who became a married couple and now run two wineries and a joint project. Johannes and Michael come from the famous Gross winery in southern Styria, which Johannes took over together with his wife Martina. Her sister Maria in turn married Michael Gross and together they fell in love with Gorca more than ten years ago.
