The "Grange'/"BIN 95' actually represents the pinnacle of quality in the Penfolds wine portfolio. But Penfolds would not be Penfolds if head oenologist Peter Gago were content with that. Constantly pushing the boundaries of what is possible in terms of quality is deeply rooted in Penfolds' DNA. The "G5' is the expression of this endeavour in wine. It is the last in a series of three cuvées in which outstanding Grange vintages have been combined. Not surprisingly given the name, "G5' is made up of the five vintages 2010, 2012, 2014, 2016 and 2018. A super-Grange that is significantly greater than the sum of its parts. An ultra-rare vinological unicorn, of which just 2,200 bottles were filled.
