Alexandre Moreau took over the Bernard Moreau family winery in the fourth generation and practically turned everything upside down. Now, up to date, he has renamed it Alex Moreau. He has a very purist, terroir-driven approach. This is particularly noticeable in the 21 Batard Montrachet. Crystal-clear fruit, minerality and fine, elegant fruit characterise the style. The premium Grand Cru site expresses enormous flavour pressure and wonderful elegance.
