Weinlaubenhof Kracher
Weinlaubenhof Kracher is located in Illmitz on Lake Neusiedl. Here, the Kracher family has made the family winery world-famous with a large selection of legendary sweet wines.
Weinlaubenhof Kracher is legendary for its intense and dense noble sweet wines. The enormous breadth of the range is remarkable, with between 10 and 15 different "sweet wines' coming onto the market every year - the foggy climate on Lake Neusiedl in autumn makes this possible. What all Kracher wines have in common is their dense, highly concentrated character. The "Trockenbeerenauslese Scheurebe No. 1' from 2008 is no exception. Intense notes of mango and passion fruit, the finest blossom honey, plus some apricot and orange zest on the nose as an overture, grapefruit and passion fruit accompanied by lush botrytis tones play around the palate for a very long time. The "Wine Advocate' praised the balance and structure and awarded 96 points. Now just at the beginning of its drinking maturity.
