An exclusive wine from an even more exclusive variety, because "Il Caberlot? - presumably a naturally occurring cross between Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot - is truly unique. A wine made from a monopoly grape variety that only exists in Carnasciale. The wine, which is bottled exclusively in magnum bottles, is correspondingly rare. Just three to three and a half thousand hand-numbered bottles are produced each year. It is matured for around 18 months in 80% new barriques, followed by at least 16 months in the bottle. It combines intense, dense fruit, strong spiciness, with notes of pepper, bay leaf, rosemary and violets with an enormous freshness. A real unicorn among the Super Tuscans!
