100% Cabernet – split evenly between the Franc and Sauvignon varieties – makes up the cuvée "Ceres Anesidora,? named after the Roman goddess of agriculture who bestows gifts. And this wine proves itself a worthy tribute to its divine namesake, with its richness, power, and abundance. Fermented in both wood and stainless steel, then aged for two years in French barriques followed by another six months in stainless steel tanks, this wine presents a deep, dark color, a highly complex bouquet (blackcurrant, bell pepper, lilac, herbs, black truffle), and a palate marked by deep minerality and long-lasting aromatics. Intense and powerful, yet remarkably elegant.

Viticulture has existed in the Latium region for around 2500 years. The Omina Romana winery, founded by Anton and Katharina Börner, has been in existence since 2007. With the clear goal of producing only top-quality wines, the founders chose an area near Velletri, 40 kilometres southeast of Rome.
