The 2019 Larrieu Terrefort is a Margaux that offers an excellent price-pleasure ratio. The cuvée of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Merlot was matured for 18 months in 30% new barriques. The wine has a successful concentration of dark berry fruits, plums and violet flowers in combination with spicy oak. On the palate, it offers elegant tannins, floral elements and a wonderful spiciness that is integrated into the ripe fruit. A great, enveloping Margaux with excellent length.
