The relatively unknown winery in the immediate vicinity of Château Palmer produces a wonderful old-style wine year after year. This 2023 vintage in particular demonstrates its full class. The Margaux appellation does not have many wines in this price range with this enormous quality. Silky tannins, juicy cassis aromas and animating acidity with a pronounced salinity make this wine a hedonistic pleasure! 93-94 JS
