Not many wines from Margaux have managed to draw the right conclusions from the power phase of the past few years. Many are now totally boring. Cantenac Brown has found its own style. Especially in the 2023 vintage, it inspires with an almost sensual aroma. Black fruit, well-integrated wood, fine tannins... beguiling. Quite the 3ème Cru from Margaux that it should always be.

The emblem of Cantenac Brown is its spectacular Tudor-style château that bears witness to the Scottish origins of its founder John Lewis Brown and makes it one of the most remarkable Médoc estates. It is surrounded by impressively extensive parkland, an oasis of unspoilt nature where Scottish sheep reign supreme.
