Château Branaire-Ducru
Classified as "4ième Grand Cru Classé de Saint-Julien" in 1855, the wines of the Maroteaux family have gained in complexity and freshness over the last ten years. They are among the best in the appellation.
The 2023 shows the recent very good development of this great classic of the St. Julien appellation. Fine aromas of dark fruits and a high level of elegance characterize the wine. It has finely polished tannins and a long finish. The major changes made in recent years are slowly paying off. A great wine with a good price/enjoyment ratio.
