Pavillon Rouge du Château Margaux Zweitwein Château Margaux 2023
The unusually high proportion of Cabernet Sauvignon for a second wine from the Medoc brings the Pavillon Rouge very close to its first wine in terms of aroma. Although it is somewhat slimmer, the floral notes and refreshing, slender acidity are also impressive here. By no means a copy of Château Margaux, but an impressive expression of the same philosophy. 96-97 JS
