A lot has happened at Tronquoy (Lalande) under the aegis of Montrose. The wines are no longer as brittle as they used to be. With the new, "fresher" label, the wine style of this historic château has also changed towards a charming, juicy, elegant St. Estèphe. The wine has become much more high-class. The aromas are complex, the notes of dark berries and violets are multi-layered and the animating acidity is present. This makes for a wine experience not thought possible in this price range!

In the Saint-Estèphe appellation, on the banks of the Gironde, lies the Deuxième-Grand-Cru-Classé-Château Montrose. Wine was only cultivated here comparatively late, since 1815. Almost 200 years later, the entrepreneurs Martin and Olivier Bouygues acquired the vineyard and invested with the aim of preserving the historic Bordeaux heritage.
