Château Sénéjac is a historic Haut Médoc vineyard near the Margaux appellation and shows a similar style to its immediate neighbors in the classic 2021 vintage. Essentially based on Cabernet Sauvignon (62%) and Merlot (27%), the wine showed beautiful ripeness and fine dark berry fruit in our Arrivage tasting. Subtle and finely balanced use of wood ensures plenty of harmony. A great classic!

Château Sénéjac

In the middle of the 19th century, the Château Sénéjac estate was already producing the equivalent of 100,000 bottles a year. There were changing owners - until 1860 when the Comte de Guigné took over, whose family managed the Château for 139 years.
