The 2016 "Imperial? is a Corpinnat made of 48% Xarel?lo, 30% Macabeo, 15% Parellada, and 7% Chardonnay, matured for 64 months on the lees. This grande cuvée is a brilliant sparkling wine with the finest mousse. On the nose, it recalls candied exotic fruits, ripe citrus, light brioche and roasted notes, nuts, and almonds. On the palate, it is a rounded Corpinnat with clear, precise acidity and fine extract sweetness.
