Gusbourne Estate Blanc de Blancs Gift box 2016

This single-varietal Chardonnay, which was awarded a whopping 95 points by Decanter, is a big hit! It smells smoky and mineral with notes of honey wax, nougat, ripe lemon, quince, pear and apricot. Pear and apricot. There are also hints of savoury biscuits and brioche. On the palate, the 2016 Blanc de Blancs is ripe and juicy, silky and sensual in its fine perlage, but also fresh and crisp with the typical minerality of the chalk soils. There are also elegant notes of citrus zest and salted lemons, brioche and shortbread.
