Château Berliquet GCC St. Emilion 2022

You simply have to like this Grand Cru Classé! In the past, Berliquet was often a little brittle, almost careless. Since the Chanel Group (same owner as the 1er GCC winery Chateau Canon in the immediate vicinity) has taken over, an extremely sensual and extremely precise St. Emilion has been created here. Everything meshes harmoniously. The 2022 impresses with its wonderfully juicy and finesse fruit. The tannins are present but gentle. You can feel this gentle power on the palate and the high limestone content of the perfect terroir creates a fresh minerality...wonderful! And at a moderate price.
