Dr Bürklin-Wolf Winery Hommage à Luise Riesling 2021
Light and fresh, this wine pays homage to Luise Wolf - the woman who, through her marriage to Dr Abert Bürklin in 1875, brought not only her middle name but also some of the estate's best vineyards as a dowry into the marriage. The style of the wine does justice to its historical significance: this homage is traditional and classic, but anything but old-fashioned. The 2021 vintage shows a fine competition between green apple and ripe vineyard peach, the clear, incredibly flattering residual sweetness always remains elegant, almost dancing, thanks to the radiantly bright, balancing acidity. A fruit-sweet Riesling of the finest old school, as if specially created to compete with the spiciness and exoticism of Indian or Chinese dishes. (2 bottles)

Aguila Cremant Brut
This sparkling wine from Languedoc-Roussillon is produced using the traditional champagne method. It is based on a cuvée of Chardonnay, Chenin and Mauzac. This extremely fine "Crémant de Limoux" reveals wonderfully elegant flavours of ripe pears and white flowers and has a fine perlage that is very refined on the palate. An interesting alternative to champagne. (2 bottles)

Château Gassier Le Pas du Moine 2023
The "Le Pas du Moine" cuvée from Gassier is a Provence rosé of the highest calibre! It is a cuvée made from the classic Provence grape varieties Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault and Rolle. The organically farmed vineyards are located in the marvellous landscape of the Montagne Sainte-Victoire, where Cézanne painted many of his masterpieces. The rosé has a light salmon pink colour and smells of melon, peach, grapefruit and herbs. On the palate, the cuvée is creamy and elegant with depth and a long, floral and fresh finish. (2 bottles)
