Cool elegance defines the 2023 Chardonnay from the Stahlbühl. Alongside the site's typical lightly smoky aromas, there is plenty of citrus, nutty notes, and hints of light fruits. The calcareous soil provides a fine-fresh, highly animating acidity. Minerality and subtle vegetal tones give this Chardonnay bite and depth, while delicate oak notes lend drive and structure all the way through the long finish. A perfect partner for mildly spiced fish curries, but also for turbot with spinach and potato scales.

Münzberg Winery

The Münzberg is located near the Palatinate town of Landau - in the midst of a gently rolling cultural landscape characterised by fruit trees and vineyards. Named after coins found in Roman times, the mountain is home to the vineyard of the same name. It is run by the Keßler family.
