Like the Chardonnay from the Stahlbühl, Münzberg's Pinot Blanc from the Schlangenpfiff also reflects its origin of limestone and marl soils. In the glass: citrus fruit and nutty tones, complemented by herbal notes, nuttiness, and a hint of olives. On the palate, Schlangenpfiff shows a texture shaped by creaminess, counterbalanced by animating freshness, ripe citrus fruit and zest, and cool minerality adding depth. A multilayered, well-balanced companion to roasted or grilled veal, tuna, or monkfish.

The Münzberg is located near the Palatinate town of Landau - in the midst of a gently rolling cultural landscape characterised by fruit trees and vineyards. Named after coins found in Roman times, the mountain is home to the vineyard of the same name. It is run by the Keßler family.
