The very fine and sometimes slender 5ème GCC is very surprising in this not so concentrated vintage. One reason for this is the extensive measures taken in recent years. The Château is now at the cutting edge and has achieved its first success with the 2024. Dark berries greet you on the nose. Balanced and multi-layered on the palate, the wine from the southern Haut Médoc presents itself in splendid form in this vintage!

With over 90 ha of vineyards, Château Cantemerle, first mentioned in writing in 1147, is one of the largest producers in the Haut-Médoc. The winery has been completely renovated. The highlight will be the new construction of the fermentation and barrel cellar, where the wine will be moved completely by gravity in the future.
