A lot has changed at Larcis Ducasse in recent years. The wine is no longer as concentrated and powerful. The tannins are finer, more polished. The fruit is more elegant and no longer so jammy. The 2024 is also very elegant and balanced, the dark fruit is very juicy and the chalky note gives the finish a mineral finish. As a 1er Cru Classé B this year, a super price-pleasure ratio!

Château Larcis Ducasse is located not far from the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Saint-Émilion on the plateau of Saint-Émilion. The vineyard, which has been owned by the Gratiot family for more than a hundred years, belongs today to the second highest level in the hierarchy of red wines of Saint-Émilion as Premier Grand Cru Classé B.
