Vieux Château Certan Pomerol 2024

There is no question that "VCC? has been doing outstanding work for years. The vineyard on the best terroir has always stood for the somewhat different Super Pomerol. Always super-fine, never showing the sometimes somewhat excessive power of the appellation and always very elegant, almost like a British gentleman, one might say. In this challenging year, the wine is almost surprisingly dense and intense. The meticulous selection of the grapes made this possible. This year, it does not quite match the brilliance of La Conseillante. But that's complaining on a very high level!
