The October package
For October, we have once again selected three favourite wines for you.
The first wine is the 2019 "Provenance" Shiraz from Tulbagh in South Africa. The Saronsberg winery matures it in French Allier oak. The Syrah combines smoky notes with black fruits. The second wine is the 2016 "Heideboden" from the Stiegelmar winery. This name stands for the area around Lake Neusiedl, which is characterised by black soil and gravel and gives Zweigelt and Blaufränkisch their character. It is a dark, perfectly matured wine with a successful blend of berries, cherries, oak and vanilla. The package is completed by the 2020 "Puramun Reserva" Malbec from Argentinian Bodegas Salentein, produced exclusively for Pese. It is a selection of the winery's best parcels from the Uco Valley. It combines the clear fruit of dark berries with a present but ripe acidity. Three hedonistic wines for the cooler season.
