Weingut F. X. Pichler Unendlich Riesling 2021

Of the two "Unendlich' wines produced year after year by F. X. Pichler, Riesling is undoubtedly the primus inter pares. It is even more sought-after than the Veltliner and therefore even rarer. It is, so to speak, a vinological unicorn in bottle form. The 2021 vintage of this Wachau wine icon offers those lucky enough to get their hands on a bottle a basket full of yellow tropical fruits, accompanied by mandarin, peach and floral notes. An almost infinite (nomen est omen) number of nuances of the finest aromas, embedded in a body full of juice and power, accompanied by a structured, firm acidity and, of course, the legendary, lush yet highly precise fullness of the flagship wine from the perfectionist father/son team Pichler.
