This Montepulciano comes from various single vineyards of the estate and was spontaneously fermented and aged in stainless steel. The Montepulciano d'Abruzzo is a fresh, juicy red wine that initially shows slightly reductive notes in the glass. Decanting makes sense here. With air, it reveals aromas of red and black berries, hints of cinnamon and other Indian spices, and violet blossoms. On the palate, the wine appears compact, pleasantly taut and juicy, with fine tannins and good drive.
