In what was at times a lackluster vintage, Egly Ouriet managed to produce a fascinating and mineral vintage champagne. As an Extra Brut with a very low dosage of only 1 gram per liter and an extra-long yeast aging period, it shines with complex aromas of ripe stone and pome fruit, roasted nuts, and fine perlage.
