Rheinhessen wine-growing region

Rheinhessen wines are known for their variety, freshness and fruitiness, especially dry and fruity Rieslings, fresh Silvaners and strong Pinot Noirs.

Rheinhessen, Germany's largest wine-growing region, stretches along the Rhine and is known for its diversity and willingness to experiment. Typical grape varieties are Riesling, Silvaner, Müller-Thurgau and Pinot Noir. The mild climate and diverse soils contribute to the complexity of the wines.

The long winemaking tradition dates back to Roman times. Young winegrowers provide new ideas and high quality.
