Private sparkling wine cellar Reinecker
„Without compromise
according to the traditional bottle fermentation method.“

Herbert Reinecker's winery has been producing sparkling wines exclusively since 1987, and they have been consistently highly praised by critics.
Produced using the "méthode traditionelle" - i.e. bottle fermentation - the winery from the Markgräflerland region in the far south-west of Germany offers both single-varietal Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays, as well as cuvées with Pinot Blanc and Meunier.
Reinecker calls his wine-growing philosophy "Natural Growing" and by this he primarily means the ecologically sustainable avoidance of artificial fertilisers, herbicides and synthetic pesticides. Instead, the vines in the Auggener Schäf and Auggener Letten vineyards as well as in the top sites of Feuerbacher Steingässle, Isteiner Kirchberg and Badenweiler Römerberg are fed with green plants such as clover, rye and lucerne. The work in the vineyard is done almost exclusively by hand.
The base wines are matured in stainless steel tanks or barriques. After bottling, they are usually stored for several years before being riddled and disgorged. Only brut and extra brut sparkling wines are bottled.
