Franz Wehrheim has created a crystal-clear Riesling characterised by red sandstone exclusively for Pese Wein. The emphasis is on origin and varietal typicity. It smells of crunchy apples and green pears, lemons and grapefruits, along with abrasion, some wet stone and lichen. On the palate, the Riesling initially appears elegant and calm, but then becomes increasingly electrifying towards the finish with an agile acidity, minerality and mouthwatering salinity. The first glass is quickly emptied!

Since 1920 and today in the fourth generation, traditional grape varieties of the region have been cultivated and vinified at a high level at the Palatinate winery Dr. Wehrheim.
