The 2021 "Zwerithaler Kammergut? is a 100-point wine for the FALSTAFF. And we can understand that. This wine is exceptional in everything and is also harmonious, balanced and multi-layered without ever seeming overly cerebral. It comes from a terraced vineyard that is over 110 years old and has complex Veltliner genetics. In 2021, the Grüner Veltliner is herbaceous, rocky and tobacco spicy, reminiscent of aniseed, licorice and saffron, some melon and stone fruit, pome fruit and a hint of citrus. The interplay of ripe fruit, light extract, acid structure and minerality is absolutely unique. This is juicy, salty, taut and extremely long.
