Winery Wittmann JUBILUM Grauer Burgunder No. 1 2022
The intense colour alone hints at the juiciness of this Pinot Gris. The aroma is almost reminiscent of fine sparkling wines with its notes of brioche and almond. There are also notes of yellow apples, some carambola and peach. On the palate, the "Pinot Gris" is initially creamy and melting. Then notes of herbs, apple and grapefruit peel increasingly come into play. We love the typical juicy and mouth-watering flavours. At the same time, the wine remains subtly acidic and lively. This is Pinot Gris par excellence! Try it with roasted white or green asparagus!
