"Winemaking is always a generational contract." The Wittmanns and their ancestors have been making wine in Westhofen, Rheinhessen, for around 350 years and 15 generations. The winery has been certified organic since 1990.

The 2018 "Morstein" is an intense, ripe, seductive and hedonistic wine full of complex fruit, spice and saltiness, intensity and fruit. The old vines from the clay marl and limestone provide vibrant minerality, while the altitude of the site creates tension despite the ripeness. The finish is long, intense and gripping!
